Systems Program Goals:

  • Preparing scientific and professional competencies specialized in the fields and specializations of private law, and qualifying them highly scientifically in the field of Saudi and comparative systems.
  • Meeting the needs of the specialized scientific departments for those qualified in systems specialization in general and public or private law in particular.
  • Qualifying specialists in the preparation of regulations related to public or private law for the benefit of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in a way that serves Islam and Muslims and does not contradict Islamic law.
  • Meeting the labor market need for qualified specialists in public or private law who are able to participate in the Saudi judicial system, including public and administrative judiciary, public prosecution, quasi-judicial committees, arbitration, mediation, lawyers, and legal advice.
  • Increasing scientific and research partnerships to serve the local and global community.
  • Preparing specialists capable of preparing scientific research specialized in systems and public or private law.
  • Developing the competence of comparison between legislation and systems and nurturing students to the extent that enables them to deal with any system or law, and evaluate it according to Sharia

Systems Program Requirements:

  • In addition to the conditions stipulated by the Unified Regulations for Postgraduate Studies in Universities and their executive rules at the Islamic University, the following is required:
  • It is required to pass the standardized test provided by the department, college or postgraduate studies.
  • The student obtains a bachelor's degree in Sharia, regulations, law, or its equivalent.
  • Conditions determined by the department later and announced at the time.
