The Message
The Department of Media seeks to contribute to achieving the mission of the College of Social Sciences, which aims to provide authentic university and higher education, encourage scientific research and publishing in the humanitarian field, and contribute to understanding and treating social and humanitarian problems and Hajj and Umrah services, to achieve comprehensive development goals and The Kingdom’s Vision 2030 within the scope of its competencies in accordance with For the purposes of Islamic law.
Objectives
1- Providing graduates with media work skills in the specializations of: journalism, audio-visual production, and public relations.
2 - Deepening the graduates’ understanding of the ethics of media work in light of the Islamic authority and the cultural specificity of Saudi society.
3 - Deepening the graduates’ understanding of the critical importance of the role of the media in light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and preserving the material and moral capabilities of Saudi society.
4 - Meeting the needs of the labor market for various media specializations in the field of (television - radio - print journalism - public relations).
5 - Developing the creative abilities, innovations and communication skills of program graduates in various media specializations.
6 - Qualifying graduates of the program to use modern technologies and their applications in the field of media and digital production.
